Architecture - Microsoft .net Enterprise Architect 2003, UML, Visio, ER-Win, QDesigner

We believe that every software solution should have a well-defined architecture.  About 80% of all software projects fail or fail to deliver on-time and/or under budget.  This is commonly due to a lack of clear requirements but its also due in part by a lack of clear architectural vision or maintaining that all important conceptual integrity that Brooks points out in his 1975 paper, The Mythical Man Month.   If all your developers have a clear understanding of the current architecture, then you have a very good chance of maintaining the software over a long period of time with reduced development costs.

Our consultants have used many applications that help define and develop the architecture - some of the more popular products are from Rational, Oracle, Microsoft and Quest.  You may be using other tools.  Most likely we are familiar with your current designs and can offer suggestions for lowering development costs going forward.

Here's some of the tools we have several years of experience with or are very familiar with in the industry.
